and that quote is actually very fitting, seeing as ryan is not a musician but still managed to come out with the idea for exile and is also credited in betty

blake lively is the only celebrity (besides aaron dessner) who's tagged or even acknowledged william bowery

there's also the fact that taylor used blake and ryan's kids's names in betty (even if the love triangle theories are true, the names "James, Inez and Betty" only appear on betty) and we know taylor would credit EVERYONE involved in the process
