This Business Insider article is garbage. "The death rate from coronavirus in Sweden is now one of the highest in the world when adjusted for population size."

It's not. Look at the graph. That's Sweden's death rate on the bottom. Does it look like one of the highest?

When making claim Sweden has 1 of the highest death rates in world, BI links to a 👉MAY 22👈 BI article. Sweden didn't lockdown in Spring & saw many deaths (which Tegnell admits driven by inadequate elderly protection). Since May, many countries surpassed Sweden's death rate

And the "Sweden's neighbors are doing better" argument

What is BI saying? Do Scandanavians have an innate immunity that Sweden didn't take advantage of? Does Scandanavian climate limit C19 and Sweden blew it?

If true, these would be incredible epidemiological breakthroughs.

If Sweden difference from its neighbors is not an inherent characteristic of the region, then shouldn't we all be compared against them? I'm in, so let's open schools and stop mask mandates so we can all be like Scandinavians and experience their success.
