conservative answer to rely on wisdom and accrued knowledge embedded in institutions seems irrational and faith-based based. one's whole life is spent jumping through transparent and rationalized hoops. you need the world to be like. units of production, consumption, achievement

i don't think liberal parties have the best answers. but they have some. i think conservatism seems a poor set of answers to these people. doesn't matter whether it's right or not. just feels dumb and incoherent
