This is just for fun, but I decided to do an #astrology thread about the Mother Monster herself, #LadyGaga.

She has had a huge impact on me, and I thought it would be interesting to analyze one of the most influential pop artists of all time.

Gaga’s info on the AstroData bank is conflicting, with a DD Rodden rating. No bueno. But the 2nd chart, taken from a birthday tweet, seemed really convincing to me, so this is going to largely be me trying to rectify/validate this chart. Again FOR FUN. Lol

According to this chart, she is a Capricorn rising. Mars is in the first whole sign house, and exalted, ruling the Midheaven in the 11th WSH.

Being a celebrity, I checked for factors of eminence. Exalted Mars, which is of the sect and in an angular house, is the doryphory or spearbearing bodyguard to her Sun, which is also angular and exalted, using the definition by Antiochus and Porphyry.

The ☉ in particular signifies honors, fame, recognition, leadership, and performers and is copresent Venus who occupies the same sign. Venus, the planet of beauty, music, and the arts, rules her 10H of career and 5H of creativity/children.

Seems to track so far.

Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta grew up in Manhattan, NY, and from a very early age began to play music. She learned piano and wrote her first song at only age FOUR. That also happened to be a 5H Taurus profection year, making Venus the Lord of the Year.

As a kid, she went to an all-girls Catholic school. This explains the Jupiter in Domicile in the 3H. Jupiter can signify spirituality and religion, and 3H can mean early primary school education.

Keep in mind that I will be talking about Venus a lot, bc we see it a lot, and she rules the 10H of public reputation. Uranus in her chart also makes a tight superior trine to Venus. Uranus being the planet of disruption, innovation, and uniqueness, this makes sense.

Her art, music, and fashion definitely reflects this innovative and bizarre Uranian vibe.

Uranus is also the planet of technology/science. And uh... remember that one time she wore a flying dress?

Her art and music is also incredibly bold. Venus is classically considered to be in detriment in the sign of Aries. This generally means that Venus does not have the resources she naturally is used to, and must do her job with the tools of Mars.

Mars is the red planet of boldness, courage, blood, fire, severance/cutting, and anger. I mean come on, guys, the women is literally known for wearing a meat dress and setting shit on fire on stage. This is Venus making do with an exalted Mars’ tools at its prime.

However, Venus being essentially debilitated can show difficulty as well. Gaga has been very open with her difficult relationship with fame, and that very topic was covered in her second album and EP “The Fame Monster,” where she explored the darker sides of fame.

Despite that eminence factor, her natal Sun is actually in a malefic enclosure from Saturn and Mars with no intervention, which shows her rise to fame, but also dealing with some extreme difficulties, fears, which reflects her Ascendant ruler being in the 12H.

Gaga has also opened up about very difficult experiences with her health, both mental and physical. The Moon, which signifies the physical body, is in the sign of her fall, conjunct Pluto. The Lord of the 6H of physical health is also in detriment, fall, and retrograde.

She had to cancel some tours because of this. Gaga has suffered from fibromyalgia, & it affects the way that the body processes pain signals, causing all kinds of complications. Definitely negative Mercury significations ruling the 6H of health. Mercury rules nerves.

This is also added to the fact that Saturn is the malefic out of sect, in the 12H, retrograde, and rules her 1H of physical body, mentality, and vitality.

Gaga has spoken about her struggles with depression many times, and created the Born this Way Foundation, which “prioritizes the mental health and wellness of young people by working to promote kindness and open and honest conversations about mental health.”

CW Sexual abuse.

Gaga is a sexual assault victim. She was sexually abused by someone in her network/the entertainment industry. This happened when she was 19, an 8H profection, which activated that malefically enclosed ☉. L7 is also in the 11H in fall, conjunct Pluto.

Her experiences with trauma and PTSD lead her to engage in activism work for sexual assault survivors. Her song “Till it Happens to You,” performed at the Oscars showed this moment of solidarity with other sexual assault victims.

However, this was not the first time she has done activism work. Gaga’s MC is in the 11H of community, social movements and networks, ruled by that powerful 1H Mars. She is very known for her outspoken politics and has used her platform to fight for political change.

Gaga is very politically active and fought for the LGBT community back in 2010 to repeal with outdated and anti-gay “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell” policy in the military. She has done much more activism and philanthropy since.

And in more recent news, this is Gaga performing for Joe Biden’s campaign, tying in her Venus-ruled 10H and Mc In the 11H very very nicely.
