Why i think Rinko will die in Unital Ring and why it serve a purpose for the future of Kirisuna and Kayabas dream, a thread.

Okay first of all Rinko is basically Alice's mother figure now. We all know what happens to people Alice loves and sees as family. It's likely that if she does die it'll be for Alice's sake just like Bercouli did and of course since Alice is connected to Akihikos dream too.

Second, if she does die then it will be to keep Kayabas dream alive and it will motivate Kirito and Asuna to unite the two worlds together just like Rinko and Akihiko always wanted. Their dream will be theirs too now and their generation will be the ones to achieve it!.

I know it'll be bittersweet but it does serve for the plot and hey Unital Ring is a war arc, we're bound to get some deaths.

And lastly. if she dies, she'll be reunited with Akihiko again and be united at last. It's the Unite-all Ring guys!, Everything will be united. And If they are reunited i'm sure we'll get some touching moments with them. I'm sure they'll be happy together and watch over Kirisuna.
