Can I jump in on this Moderate vs Progressive fight? I ran as a progressive in a Republican-leaning district, endorsed by Bernie, Sunrise, etc; also, I got endorsed by Biden, Harris, Obama... and guess what? Got the most votes in history.
So, I don't know if it all matters, run on the issues you care about, not some pre-scripted moniker like progressive or moderate. Find the heartbeat of your community, invite new people into the electorate by being INSPIRING, and then execute your vision.
I was viciously attacked with "defund the police" and that I was a "rioter and looter" yet, I was apart of two HUGE non-violent protests in the area. The right doesn't care about how "moderate" you are, they will slander you regardless. Be authentic.
