For me, this week started with a trip to the doctors for a routine smear test.
I can already hear some of you saying "too much information!" However, there is nothing nasty about looking after your health!

I wanted to remind people how vital cervical screening is. If you're between 25 and 64 and have a cervix, it is so important to have regular smear tests, as they are one of the best ways to protect yourself from cervical cancer.

The key thing is not to be scared, and to relax. Whilst it may feel a little uncomfortable, it only takes a few minutes, and is so important for helping keep you healthy.

And I wanted this to serve as a reminder that, despite COVID, you can and should still access the NHS for routine appointments. So if you're overdue a smear test, go and make an appointment! #NoFearGoSmear
