for me, the most admirable thing about eijun is his evolving mindset. it’s not really the way he’s “strong” despite all. it’s the way he’s been learning how to approach things. he’s matured so much and knows when and how to take criticism.
which is why i believe external validation isn’t the be-all & end-all of eijun’s needs. i think what he truly needs is self-assurance, the confidence and ability to Walk His Talk. at one point, he really was all-talk. it was no wonder people reacted strongly to him.
but by carefully building his foundation, constantly putting out results & being able to clearly assess himself, he was able to gain everyone’s trust. i think the next, most important thing is that he learns to have confidence in himself & in his abilities, & he’s getting there.
oh no the eijun brainrot is starting again 




i just cannot NOT love a story where the mc is so self-aware and so in touch w/ his flaws and imperfections. eijun’s story just hits so hard, even if his personality couldn’t be farther from mine.
