With the success of Don, Arjun managed to gain some footing. Working with SRK helped. There was an underground friendship that formed with SRK, KJO, etc that nobody knew about. This friendship landed him lots of new work: Om Shanti Om, RaOne, Heroine, We Are Family, Houseful etc

Suddenly the most wooden icey face actor had good projects in hand? Not to mention Rock On, where he managed to snag a National Award for an incredibly bland performance. Suddenly Arjun was in demand and doing well... only because of his association not talent.

All of this happened because he joined SRK’s world. These are the benefits you get when you join them. Arjun was on a high (literally) His involvement with SRK led to his friendship with Suzy/Hrithik and yes he was a part of their marriage falling a part as well.

During this time Arjun also gave an interview where he indirectly admitted to being bisexual. Twitter wasn’t around that time but the Internet forums went haywire. Did you connect the dots ?

Arjun and SRK had a professional dispute during RaOne and the wives were also involved. The outcome eventually got them shadow banned from this wonderful Bollywood group and even lead to Arjun-Mehr’s divorce.

Mehr wanted more money for Arjun and this irked SRK. Although Arjun got his raise - SRK and KJO vowed to never work with him again, this is similar to the shadow ban that Salman placed on Aishwarya, Vivek. The “if you don’t listen to me” ban. If you don’t do as I say ban.

The irony here is today jf a star kid gives a hit, producers themselves give you a raise. You don’t even need to ask. Sadly Mehr asking for more money even led to her own divorce with Arjun. But there is one more thing here.... DRUGS.

Arjun was not always into drugs, it only happened when he joined this particular group. And now Arjun ko koi poochta bhi nahi and he’s struggling to get work...but the drug addiction and involvement they got him into ; he wasn’t able to shake it off and today no one will help him

Arjun got addicted to drugs as well as procurement.... after associating with this Bollywood group. There were even blind items back then about him doing coke backstage with Badshah and Bhaijaan at many shows. I guess that’s how he got those awards ?

Question though: Would something like this ever happened to a nepo beta? Would this ever happen to a Varun or Ranbir?Don’t forget Arjun is also an outsider, but yes he’s not completely innocent himself either.

Arjun was taken to the “high” levels of success because of the SRK GROUP he was a part of. But when there was no longer any use for him, he was disposed and chucked out - with a drug kalank as a gift. Today he’s a NCB guest while the others escaped...
