ICYMI: Victims' lawyer says DOJ probe ignored a critical fact: That the FBI suspected that sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein was sexually abusing other young women and girls in other cities where he owned homes, including NYC. Acosta shut the probe down anyway. https://twitter.com/benbwieder/status/1327241307010568194
Added Sen. Ben Sasse: "The DOJ's crooked deal with Epstein effectively shut down investigations into his child sex trafficking ring and protected his co-conspirators in other states,'' he said, adding that Americans should be outraged.
While DOJ did not find the department attorneys engaged in misconduct in the Jeffrey Epstein case, they concluded the victims were not treated with "forthrightness and sensitivity.'' A federal judge already ruled that the attorneys INTENTIONALLY MISLED the victims.
If federal prosecutors did not, as the DOJ concluded, intentionally keep Jeffrey Epstein's victims in the dark, then why did Acosta SEAL the sweetheart deal? Furthermore, the feds then BLOCKED the victims from gaining access to it after the fact! This has never been answered.
