What these oligarchs, govts and international development orgs are referring for to is very different from what the common man thinks. Hidden behind these slogans and proclamations are simply more means for capitalistic and self-serving tech, infrastructure, tax benefits and more

All their ‘climate commitments’ focus largely on ‘emissions reductions’ ‘debt-for-nature swaps’ ‘renewable energy’ ‘carbon offsets’ and other such areas which don’t adequately address any of the root causes of our environmental degradation and destruction..

In particular the areas that they are the cause of / complicit in perpetuating. You won’t hear them talking about criticisms / disadvantages of focusing on these areas, and the limiting nature of them. This ‘green future’ as defined by them is a capitalist / polluters dream

What abt razing of forest land, displacement of tribal / indigenous communities, single use / plastic pollution, dumping of toxic waste, devastating infra development, land reclamation, mining, soil degradation etc? Simply lumping everything under ‘climate change’ doesn’t cut it

All the imperialists, colonisers, oligarchs, capitalists, eco-fascists and polluters have come together to exploit environmentalists’ #climateanxiety by selling this lie and hiring a lot of celebrities, influencers, and young people to parrot it #UNSDGs

All the solutions are designed by the very culprits themselves, putting minimal burden on them, enabling huge financial incentives for them, and shifting the burden of responsibility and guilt onto the people. It’s the ultimate form of #gaslighting

The #UN #WEF #WWF #WorldBank and other such actors lie at the heart of this, an integral part of the horrific #GreatReset which they’re pushing. They expect this #NewNormal to be extended to save the planet next - with #ClimateLockdowns to enable their agenda
