KH's Rab’a Allah is fast evolving. Currently there are 3 main groups affiliated with it. Jabhat Abu Jeddadha (people of lighters front)& special groups (al-Majami’e al-Khassa) provide the main manpower for vigilante activities such as burning @DijlahTv and @kdpfro offices.
Fariq Fatemiyoun (the Fatemiyoun squad) is the third group mainly responsible for attacking social media accounts that oppose Iran’s expansion in the region. They are tasked with reporting these accounts to @Twitter, etc. Also helping take back suspended ‘resistance’ accounts.
Fariq Fatemiyoun has a field branch too, gradually tasked with more thuggish activities. The structuring is still ongoing. Take al-Majami’e al-Khassa. They used to call themselves special groups of Rab’a Allah, but then on Oct 17 announced they are independent of them.
Rab’a Allah et al. are now calling themselves the deterrence forces. They are taking on more consequential tasks increasingly impacting Iraq’s socio-political and economic landscape. Yesterday they announced they will prevent any Saudi investment in Iraq.
There are a few other groups tasked with hacking websites, personal accounts or acquiring details of credit cards. Others are focused on burning liquor stores, night clubs, etc. But Rab’a Allah is the mother group. The Rab’a Allah phenomenon has grave ramifications for Iraq.
