When you go to a private clinic and pay extra for your next day MRI, the clinic gets your fast track money.

Then the clinic bills the government for the cost of the actual service.

So you, Joe Citizen, are paying for the service. You're covering the actual healthcare and the clinic is pocketing the "quick service" fee.

As I say, this is a special kind of evil.

I hear sometimes from conservatives that this will improve the overall quality of healthcare in this country. Incentivize innovation.
