$OCEAN THREAD

As always, I am calling out the good things and the bad things in crypto.

This goes for whatever project, even the ones I am holding and truly believe in.

Oceans marketplace is not safe and not ready for staking.

For those of you who have been following me for a while, you know how much I support #OceanProtocol and how much I love the project.

Nevertheless, since the Ocean Market got launched, people have only been losing their $OCEAN tokens due to rug pulls. Me included.

I understand that this is a Beta and things are still not where they should be. This is the risk we take as early testers. For that very reason, I have been staking only in "legit" data sets, "approved" by either @BrucePon or @trentmc0, the founders of Ocean Protocol.

The problem is, even those have been nothing but rug pulls so far. Maybe not all of them but the majority was.

The latest one was CivicTechHub which has been hyped a lot, even got verified as an 'official data partner' and now, apparently and as of the looks of it, exit scammed.

I still am a big believer in what's behind this project and I will still support them along the way, yet, I will be calling out the negative experience as well and not just hyping up my bags for the sake of making money.

The amount of coins I lost there is more than...

...I want to admit here and that is completely my own fault due to my naive behaviour and my own greediness.

I take full responsibility whatsoever but will not encourage people to go and stake their coins until this issue is being handled in a way, liquidity providers...

...can feel more safe. For now, it's a casino with only losses for the majority and this does not shed a good light on the project so far.

Hopefully, we will see more positive stories on the Ocean Market soon. I will stay out of it until Beta is over.
