i hate the "is 18 too young for sw" debate. So can i point out what most of us didn't learn until SW & wish we learned sooner-
-our bfs/gfs/friends were actually controlling & abusive
-our boundaries
-how to enforce them
-red flags
-emotional labor
-sex ed
-self confidence
-tact
15-30 strippers in 1 room really help bring clarity to your life. Lol

We start SW bcuz we need money.
But SW teaches so much more than that, & yeah its a crash course. No matter what age you start its mind blowing that u didnt know. I'm so grateful i started when i did, at 18.
W/out SW i
-wouldve married abusive fiance at 18 & been working 3 jobs
-wouldn't have been able to get out of homelessness, every time
-wouldnt have been able to just return to sw everytime i needed to save my own ass
-wouldnt have been able to survive as a single mom
