At the end of the day Biden represents ports who make their money bringing imports in, and Trump represents the interior of country that produces exports (or used to). Biden represents NYC/Boston banks and SoCal/Seattle tech, Trump represents mining, industry, and agriculture.
Blue coastal states make thousands of dollars on every single shipping container that comes in.
Every container ship from China that comes in represents millions in profits to democrat port cities, and lost jobs for the rest of the nation.
Every mortgage, treasury debt, credit card debt, and other usury payment owed to the big banks represents cash flow into NYC and other Democrat-run financial centers, and out of the interior of the country.

It is a vampire economy.
Every purchase made on eBay, Amazon, every click on Twitter or Facebook, represents cash flow to the West Coast tech moguls from the interior of the country.
A constant siphon from importers, financiers, and tech giants, while giggling the red states don't pay as much in taxes to the federal budget and are backwards for not taking their children to homosexual drag shows. Trump's populism is mild compared to what would be justified.
The false narrative is that blue states want socialism and red states want free markets. This obfuscates the PHYSICAL REALITY of import/export, debtor/creditor, tech-producer/tech-consumer, and agricultural, mining, factory producer-exporter. Blue states can AFFORD high taxes.
And are "free markets" (ie, competing 1 for 1 with 3rd world) actually what interior states want and need to revitalize their industries? Trump and his supporters say "no", despite decades of gaslighting by neolilberal academics and "conservative" economists & politicians.
