So many good writers are currently struggling...

By and large, rooms aren’t staffing, studios aren’t buying...

And, soon, many will have to leave the biz altogether.

My managers have told me I just need to “wait it out.”

In what other business do you need to wait something out?

Yes I get there’s a pandemic and things are weird right now.

But even before the pandemic, we were getting bled dry.

So much free work...

So many subscale deals that we were urged to take because “the next one will be good.”

And then we hit this, a yearlong work stoppage.

If it was hard before, it’s nearly impossible now.

To break in. To stay in. To succeed.

The only silver lining is we’re all in it together
