okay, I think we're going a bit too far here.

Yes, baby yoda was a little SHIT, those were hers, they're precious. I was angered too, they are her progeny, but like...

this isn't a lack of female influence thing, it's just a bad thing that occured in this fictional series https://twitter.com/fangirlcantina/status/1325973556493168640
bad things happen in series with complex character-driven stories. Characters we're made to love/respect do bad things we can be disappointed in, or feel betrayed by. This is not a failure of writing or male chauvenism, it's just... things that happen
in fact, the female character in this series showed agency, she was arguably smarter/more clever than our protagonist, Mando got his just desserts for judging her, and owned up to it. She was, despite being a frog muppet, portrayed in a serious and sympathetic way
sorry not series, *episode. but you get what I meant

Baby yoda is not a magical jedi baby jesus. It isn't a saviour of jedi-kind. He's an annoying little brat with a fucked up dad who's trying his best. I applaud them for being brave enough to portray them realistically
just... as poor a taste as you might find in this episode, don't turn this into this massive systemic failing sort of thing, lol
The puritainism in writing and narratives I keep seeing creep into all media, be it animation, TV, movies, books or comics, is getting frustrating
