Some folks are concerned about the amount of time or money they have left to stock their pantry for Fall/Winter so this is what I would do if I only had $100 and one day to get a head start or ease the burden.

Walmart:12-20 cans of 50¢ veggies and soups, 2 boxes of 78¢ pasta, 2 jars of $1.28 pasta sauce, $2.50 5# bag of rice, 2 $1 bags of dry beans, 1 dozen eggs, 1 pound of butter, bag of flour, bag of sugar, TP, paper towels, cold/flu meds.

Notice there’s nothing fancy on the list but all those things will carry you a long way. Bleach is a work horse and can be used in almost all cases instead of Lysol and other fancy cleaners. The exception is fabric.
If l had $200 l would up the pasta and beans to 3 each. I would do 30-40 cans of fruits and veggies. I would add a couple of cans of frozen Wal-Mart brand juice concentrate, garbage bags, laundry detergent, soap, deodorant, toothpaste, and lotion. Whatever is left...meat
