The actual amount being reallocated is tiny compared to the scale of change that is needed. But this seed funding will help establish better ways of serving yyc.

Secondly, Orr is fear mongering “our staffing numbers are inadequate to provide the level of service that Calgarians deserve and expect.”

I realize this isn’t every officer, but Calgarians deserve and expect better.

~$20M is COVID impacts (reductions to all City Services)
ONLY $10M is actually reallocation to seed fund establish better ways of serving the needs of the community
