I've seen a few threads with advice for those coming off campaigns. Sharing some of it here:

1. @creynoldsnc is right. With the exception of one job, I've never been doing what I thought I'd be doing at a given time. But I've loved every job! Don't stress about your 5 year plan. https://twitter.com/creynoldsnc/status/1327029536031174656
2. It takes time! My advice is to file for unemployment immediately and try to keep your schedule balanced. I used to pick a few days a week for meetings/interviews and on the others I would catch up on personal tasks, see friends, go to museums, or rest! https://twitter.com/creynoldsnc/status/1327027647923298304
3. Of course, one of the first tasks is to update your resume. Try to break your job into a few different categories that build on past experience and tell the story you want to tell honestly. Keep it to one page! https://twitter.com/creynoldsnc/status/1327026728338907136
4. Don't feel bad asking for advice! I have an unlikely campaign origin story, but ever since that first race I can count on one hand the people who have really helped me get to where I am. So many people (including me) want to pay it forward! https://twitter.com/creynoldsnc/status/1085254575756582918
5. More and more all the time, organizations are getting better at posting jobs online. Bookmark the jobs pages for places you're interested in working and check them daily. But there are also other great sites and resources: https://twitter.com/itsangelamata/status/1325820699911606274
6. Keep people posted about what you're interested in so they can advocate for you. And when you apply or interview for a job you want, see if you know anyone who can put in a good word.
7. Try not to get discouraged! You may need to find a temporary source of income, but this can be a unique opportunity to reflect on past experiences, think about what interests you, absorb information about place to work and types of jobs, and restructure your priorities.
There's nothing like going to work every day with people who share your values and want to do something about it. Win or lose, you've fought for something you believe in and that's a good thing. Take a moment to rest and then get back out there! More here: https://twitter.com/itsangelamata/status/1325819548348641282
