Hey all,

So here are things as I see it:

1) ICU capacity is gone, between covid (70%) and more typical use. Some hospital ICUs are already at 130% overcapacity.
2) We have 80% unknown community transmission because our contact tracing system is overwhelmed.
3) Case counts are doubling every ~12 days.
4) Any public health measures take ~14 days to have an effect on case counts.
5) The UCP have failed to implement meaningful restrictions.
6) The UCP have failed to hire enough contact tracers to stop the spread from going exponential.
7) Because of the load on the contract tracers, notifications & +ive test followups are sporadic and delayed, sometimes beyond the point of usefulness.

All of this leads to:
8) We're likely to find out in this province just how deadly Covid is without medical intervention.

Don't get sick. Do everything you can to not require medical attn right now. Assume covid is in the wild and prevalent in your community and act accordingly. Stay home. No visits.
9) Extrapolating from past actions, we're not going to get help from this govt until it's MUCH too late.
