We're at the CLASS 9A SDHSAA STATE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME with a matchup between #3 Warner (10-0) and #4 Canisota/Freeman (10-1). Follow along with this thread to see who becomes the CLASS 9A STATE CHAMPION!!!

Canista/Freeman won the coin toss and chose to kick the ball away. Warner will start the game with posession.

After a 40+ yard kick off return for Warner, they go 3 and out in their first drive and punt it away. Canisota/Freeman will begin their first drive on their own 12 yard line.

In Canisota/Freeman’s first drive they fumble the ball and #15 Chase Braun for Warner recovers the fumble. Warner will take over on Canisota/Freeman’s 40 yard line with 7 minutes left in the 1st quarter.

After 2 first downs Warner turns the ball over in their own redzone and Canisota/Freeman takes over on their own 21 yard line. 5:08 left in the first quarter.

Canisota/Freeman is unable to convert the turnover into any points and punts it away. Warner takes over on their own 33 yard line.

At the end of the 1st quarter Warner and Canisota/Freeman are tied 0-0. Tyce Ortman (QB-Canisota/Freeman) is 1-3 passing for a total of 5 yards. Hunter Cramer (QB - Warner) is 0-1 for 0 yards. Warner starts the second quarter with the ball on their own 46.

After a 35 yard drive Canisota/Freeman gets a turnover on downs in their first drive of the second half. Warner takes over on their own 31 with 7:12 left in the 3rd quarter.

Warner goes three and out and punts it away. Canisota/Freeman will start their second drive of the 3rd quarter from their own 27 yard line.

A big 69 yard TD run from Tyce Ortman (QB-Canisota/Freeman) gives Canisota/Freeman their second score of the game. The 2 point conversion is unsuccessful.
