So #Cummings departs just before the real Brexit catastrophe starts - the one for which the government he influences has signally failed to plan. Is anyone going to take responsibility for this chaos?
The brexit deadline passed so we’ve done it, they say, ride off into the sunset, get job with disaster capitalists, fabulous. I saw a tweet earlier saying ch4 news noted 22/28 top Vote Leave staff were in Johnson’s circle - what catastrophe they have wreaked.
Glad he’s gone but what a wreckage he’s caused, and without compunction.
Cummings is good at smashing things up and lying. Whipping up race hate, scapegoating immigrant workers for his own disaster capitalist aims. Attacking the powerless is easy. As is giving contracts to chums. It’s building stuff /unity that’s hard. But who’s going to do that?
