VERY BAD HEATMAP: New regional numbers are out, and it shows things have gotten far worse in Fraser South over the last week. More than 200 cases per 100,000. That means that one of every 500 people in the region tested positive for #COVID19 JUST LAST WEEK.
Things also got worse in Fraser East and Fraser North.
But, and here's the one shred of good news, new case numbers were down in Vancouver.
Here's the week-over-week new case number change.
Finally, it should be noted that Remembrance Day may play a factor here, in that it's possible there was less testing, and thus will be fewer immediate positive cases today. Could see a compensatory bump tomorrow.
By comparison, Italy and France posted 55/66 cases per 100k yesterday. That translates to around 375-450k per 100k per week. That's about double Fraser South's rate at the moment.
