when I was young and being told about Jesus being the savior I just couldn't believe it because my logic was that if a human being was chosen to be a savior that it would have to be a woman. my logic was that my mom gave me life and therefor she is the giver of gifts
that along with I just don't see human as an exception from Creator as the rest of the Earth. I remember asking if the dogs and horses had saviors. wondering to myself, 'what about the fish?... insects?'
I remember asking why he was a white man and whether, maybe, each continent had their own savior/messiah?
they told me he would come back when we needed him the most. this really hurt my chances of accepting their views because I instantly asked why didn't he show up when his own followers were killing all our people?... i was told those werent 'real' chrsitians
then I asked how is he coming back? like, physically... will he be born anew? appear out of thin air? come from the sea? seen from way afar from outerspace and NASA sees him first and says, 'he is currently 643,020 miles from earth traveling at walking speed?'
and when he does come back where is the place he will visit first? Paris? Hawaii? the Town Pump in Browning (only place on Earth was sacred JoJo's, so its a possibility).
then I was told I was going to hell... lol
but i mean no disrespect to jesus, ill never call him my savior but ill quote him in times of need and during a spiritual endeavor. he has to have had some strong medicine. and surely, no matter how much I question this idea that he saved me, surely he'll understand my POV
If he was the peaceful man the thick book says he was then he wont condemn anyone for not accepting him as their one and only way to salvation. surely it is far less of a concern than the evil terrors his 'false' followers give my ancestors
