Gonna use Chapter 16 as my example. Specifically part 2.
Ayumu and Yuu had that falling out, Ayumu quit the school idol club and her mental state slowly went down.
Everyone else just sent texts to Ayumu and nothing else. Even Yuu didn’t even try visiting her. 1/2 https://twitter.com/supremeshio/status/1327004843920199680

Shioriko downright went to Ayumu’s home. She forced Ayumu outside, out of pure concern for her health. It wasn’t out of obligation, nobody made her do it. She just wanted the best for Ayumu. Nobody else did anything even close to what Shioriko did.
At the end of the chapter, Shioriko is the one who pulls Ayumu back up after coming back to an empty club and rallies her motivation to give the horrible speech and apologise to Yuu. If it wasn’t for Shioriko, Ayumu and Yuu likely wouldn’t have been made up.
Even then, going back a few chapters.
Ayumu downright said she wanted to dance with Shioriko. Shioriko was more invested in Ayumu’s performance than anybody else there. She almost fell out of her seat from trying to look as close as possible.

Hell, Shioriko is the person who helped Ayumu find that gift to give to Yuu in Ch 16 Part 1. If it wasn’t for her, Ayumu wouldn’t have succeeded. Not even close.
All these reasons are why I genuinely don’t think Ayumu and Shioriko work with anybody more than they do with each other. Yuu and Setsuna don’t do anything really for Ayumu. They haven’t been shown to care as much as Shioriko has.
