#Thanksgiving plans (and more broadly, holiday plans) are making a lot of people feel stressed and overwhelmed: What to do? How to do it safely?

At two weeks away it's a good time to nail down plans. Here's a thread of some of the best resources I've seen from the experts:
Dr. Murray's @EpiEllie group created a very detailed list of Thanksgiving recommendations with specific ideas from seating arrangements to "how are you supposed to mask up and eat?"

Really thoughtful list, highlighting the things to focus on. https://twitter.com/EpiEllie/status/1326925809660129284?s=20
If you are looking at the CDC's recommendations the "Thanksgiving" tab (IMO) is not particularly useful: a lot of very generic bullet points.

But the page above it "Holidays" is *much* more in depth and detailed with good before, during after, ideas: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/daily-life-coping/holidays.html
Epidemiologist Dr. Tara Smith has a fantastic thread here going through a lot of these key points and doing what might be the most helpful: saying what Thanksgiving is going to look like for her this year. https://twitter.com/aetiology/status/1326935745685311491
To highlight this point from Dr. Smith's thread: being two weeks away means that NOW is the time to start quarantining like you mean it to minimize exposure before the holiday: https://twitter.com/aetiology/status/1326935747790835712?s=20 @aetiology
