During the administration of Asiwaju Tinubu Lagos state recruited in mass young graduates into the Civil Service government. They are known as the “millennium staff”. Majority of them are civil servants, the result Lagos is the 5th largest economy in Africa
Asiwaju Tinubu is credited with the de-centralized governance, with the introduction of the 37 LCDAs, bringing governance closer to the people
Asiwaju Tinubu’ is credited with setting up the rapid response squad. He provided the divisional headquarters generator sets. He bought patrol vehicles for policemen. The crime rate was drastically reduced.
