Too many startups are built on the backs of anxious overachievers who oscillate somewhere between:

– achieving → "am I good enough?"
– anxiety → "why am I not achieving?"

It doesn't have to be this way! Allow me to introduce you to the HEALTHY ACHIEVER. A quick thread. 👇
Anxious overachiever: I can't take a break. We must push, push, push without stopping for air. I feel the urgency running through my veins!

Healthy achiever: I set a pace that's sustainable for the long-term. We'll reach our goals by stopping for air when we need it.
Anxious overachiever: Ugh, I screwed up. And now here I am in this toxic place of self-analysis and criticism. How did I end up back here again?

Healthy achiever: I made a mistake. I'm learning and growing. I want to share all I learned from this mistake with my team.
Anxious overachiever: I don't like to admit it, but I need to hear from others around me that I'm succeeding. Praise is the currency of my relationships.

Healthy achiever: Hyper-competitiveness doesn't serve me – in fact, it sabotages me! I put in the effort to care for myself.
Anxious overachiever: I did really well, but it still wasn't good enough. I made progress, but I could have done better. I don't have time to stop and celebrate; we have to keep going.

Healthy achiever: My worth is built on my ability to contribute positively, not perfectly.
I used to live in anxious overachieving mode. Did I achieve? Yes. And frankly, I wasn't in a place to enjoy all that I achieved in that moment.

My hope is that you can make the shift from anxious overachieving → healthy achieving. I'm here to root you on along the way.
