At the city council meeting on June 4, we reaffirmed @RaleighPACT's demand for a community review board to investigate RPD brutality. 12 days later, then-city manager announced a contract with 21CP Solutions to "review the RPD’s response to protests".

The 21CP Solutions report was released earlier this week. Unsurprisingly, the firm recommended more brutality, including: increased surveillance via helicopter/CCTV/drones, mass arrest policy, liaisons, further criminalizing "un-permitted" protests, more cops & equipment.

We don't want the police to police us more effectively, as this report recommends. We don't want police in our protests or communities at all.
If the conclusions from this report are enacted, RPD would require more funding.
