In 2016, @Target, you released a statement affirming your support for transgender customers. @AskTarget why you’re selling a book notorious for its harmful rhetoric against us? Historically, harmful products have been pulled from the shelf, and this should be, too.

@AskTarget, your code of ethics published at https://corporate.target.com/_media/TargetCorp/about/Target-Corporation-Code-of-Ethics.pdf explicitly states that you stand for inclusion and equality, and you recognize trans people as belonging to that statement.

I will follow up with an email to your ethics department, @AskTarget but a public response to this issue would go a long way toward demonstrating your sincerity. Your statements have been good; please continue to be a company that we can trust.
