Putting the proverbial cart before the horse, The New York Times ran a categorically unproven headline, “No, Dominion voting machines did not cause widespread voting problems.” https://www.nytimes.com/2020/11/11/technology/no-dominion-voting-machines-did-not-cause-widespread-voting-problems.html?smid=tw-share
In reality, 100% of Georgia and 83% of Michigan counties used Dominion and KnowInk poll books.
GA bought the KnowInk PollPads last year from Dominion Voting Systems as part of the new election system costing more than $100 million. https://www.startribune.com/appeals-court-halts-order-requiring-georgia-pollbook-backups/572857451/

At the end of October, a federal appeals court temporarily halted a lower court's order requiring every polling place in Georgia to have at least one updated paper backup of the of these electronic pollbooks that are used to check in voters.

“Georgia uses the Dominion voting machines and KnowInk poll books statewide — systems that the state only deployed in every county for the first time this year after replacing its previous 20-year-old electronic voting systems.” https://www.politico.com/news/2020/11/04/georgia-election-machine-glitch-434065

In Georgia, the Dominion ‘glitch’ prompted a judge to extend voting hours.
Marcia Ridley, the elections supervisor at the Spalding County Board of Elections and a Democratic politician, said she received a KnowInk software update the night before Election Day.
Marcia Ridley, the elections supervisor at the Spalding County Board of Elections and a Democratic politician, said she received a KnowInk software update the night before Election Day.
“Dominion, which prepares the poll books for counties before elections, “uploaded something last night, which is not normal, and it caused a glitch,” Marcia Ridley, the elections supervisor at the Spalding County Board of Elections, told POLITICO on Election Day.
"Ridley said that a representative from the two companies called her office after poll workers began having problems with the equipment Tuesday morning. The representative said the problem was due to an upload to the machines by one of their technicians overnight." — POLITICO
Dominion says there is no record of that call, and the state can confirm the last update took place on October 30. http://politico.com/news/2020/11/04/georgia-election-machine-glitch-434065
"On Election Day, a reported "glitch" in the software of Dominion Voting Systems equipment saw 6,000 votes switched from Republican to Democrat in Antrim County, Michigan. Similar glitches in the software were reported in Georgia."
