When I talk about my Infertility I had 10 days to get head round (from cancer dx to surgery) and ask for 'no adoption replies please' it isnt because I am anti adoption.
Its because it's a crappy response.
Adoption should be seen as the next best thing.
It's also not that easy.

You dont just fill a form in and get a child.
I may never be a candidate for adoption because of my history and health.
But even if I am, and even if its something i would consider, it still shouldn't be used as a 'well you can just adopt' response.

The reason I share this is because every time I post about the infertility at least one if not more bring adoption up.
Dont
For me. Or anyone else.
Everyone knows about adoption. And while someone is grieving their fertility it's not the right time to bring it up.
