Had an interesting thought earlier. It may take a few tweets but stuck with it, hopefully it's worth it...

Imagine an alternate reality where Murdoch's newspaper moguls didn't prop up our Government with the bullshit stories they peddle. Furthermore, social media site Facebook

was not open to abuse in the way it has been in our reality.
So let's assume that, for whatever reason, Murdoch's newspapers had thought that Brexit was an excellent idea and supported it wholeheartedly. A leave result was declared and then everything else unfolded in the same

way but remember, Murdoch's shit rags are independent. As the 350 million for the NHS lie unravels, as the staying in the single market and retaining our EU rights lies become apparent the newspapers are not happy. "What about the 350 million you promised?" they cry, "You said

we'd retain our EU rights!" exclaimed another.
Then, suddenly, Covid comes along. The Government handles it abysmally and is busy spending millions upon millions of public money on dodgy PPE contracts and given them to their elite chums.
"OUTRAGEOUS!!!" shout the newspapers,

"THIEVES" yells another, "MURDERERS" another calls and questions if the Government's inadequate Covid response is even intentional for the lucrative PPE contracts. An in-depth article encourages the police to be involved. The characters involved have their assets seized, are

taken to court and they are imprisoned for carrying out a fraud on an unprecedented scale.
A hard Brexit occurs and things get worse, jobs are lost, financial institutions shift to friendly EU countries, medicine shortages occur and people die because they can't get their

insulin. Ireland votes to become one. Scotland and Wales form an alliance and vote to leave the UK and then rejoin the EU.
The newspapers are in shock. They apologise for having formerly sung the praises of Brexit and they were completely wrong. People were misled by the lies

and we should apologise to the EU and try and rejoin as soon as possible if they'll trust us.

As I said at the start, this is a story of fantasy. Murdoch's shit rags don't point this stuff out. Instead they are in bed having an affair with the Government. They vilify immigrants

and rattle on about sovereignty and nearly dodge the fact that we could already control our own borders and that we already had sovereignty. But they don't. And regardless of the fact that less and less people buy these shit rags, the mass hypnosis of what you should think

prevails very strongly.

So they don't call out the MPs with their dodgy PPE contracts for their pals, they don't call them out for their shocking Covid handling.

So where are we? The Government is going to court for the dodgy PPE contracts in January but not a sniff of it in

the shit rags. Brexit is still apparently great says the Express especially a no-deal. That'll teach the EU they proudly exclaim. THAT'LL TEACH THEM.

I don't really know what my point was but I guess it's a story about a lack of integrity on the part of Murdoch and his acid

like corrosive shit rags. A lack of integrity with MPs who have taken to constant lies in the pursuit of unicorns while having dreams of becoming a low-tax country for the elite.

The only future I can see is breaking the links with Murdoch and Government, legislating against the

likes of Facebook with the threats of crippling fines, ensuring that the BBC retains its independence and ensuring that the Government keeps its sweaty paws off it.

But we're not there yet. The worst of the Brexit damage has not yet materialised as we are still in transition.

No, instead, we have taken the wrong path where law and order no longer seem to matter with regards to the Government. Cummings has to go. As does Johnson. Sunak is not the answer either as he is up to his neck in the Tufton Street Mafia as well. I think we need Starmer right

now. The US have got Biden, and I am extremely envious. We are still in the populist, bullshitting darkness with Murdoch's shit rags back them up.

"Johnson is doing a good job under difficult circumstances" people exclaim.

A good job. Think about those words for a second.
