Hi, Alberta. We haven't met yet, but we know you’re tired of the polarization in our province. You’re sick of the partisanship. You just want to move forward. We get it. That’s why we created the Next 30 — so we can discuss the next 30 years here in Alberta. #ableg (1/10)
What is the Next 30? It’s a group of people from across the province, with a wide range of backgrounds and life experiences, who think we need to think harder about our future — and how we’ll succeed in it. https://www.thenext30.ca (2/10)
How will we expand our economy while protecting our environment? How will we care for the old and build a future for the young? And what do we need to do to ensure Alberta remains an attractive place to grow a family, a business, or a career? (3/10)
These are the questions that brought us together — and these are the questions that we’ll be bringing to Albertans in the weeks and months to come. And we’re not alone. (4/10)
We’ve assembled a group of 30 amazing Albertans, who will help us lead important conversations about the public policy areas that will shape our shared future.

But this isn’t about us delivering a sermon from the mount. We want you to participate. That starts on November 26th, with the first of our two warm-up sessions: The Best of Us. (6/10)
We’ll ask questions like: what do you appreciate most about people in Alberta? What qualities and characteristics will we need to face the future? And what might we need to let go of? (7/10)
On December 8th, we’ll gather again to discuss 30 Things to Celebrate. What are your favourite ideas or achievements from the past? And what can we learn from them as we face new challenges in the future? (8/10)
Then, beginning in 2021, members of the Possibility Panel will gather every week to tackle a new subject, from economic diversification to social inclusion and truth, reconciliation, and Indigenous opportunity. Again, we want you to join us to share your energy and ideas. (9/10)
You can start right now by sharing this with your friends, by following this account, and by checking back regularly on our schedule of events. It’s time for something more than partisan bickering and polarized conversations. It’s time for us to move forward — together. (10/10)
