Brit left are divided in two camps in Re to Muslim communities: 1, they are colonial liberals and fundamental secularists, or 2, they consider AQ/Daesh some kind of Muslim liberation project. The left doesn’t know how to engage with Muslims who aren’t pro AQ/Daesh, they would rather be close to pro AQ/Daesh communities cos of their own warped patronising political /cultural frameworks. This is also why they don’t understand socialist Libyans who are also follow Islam.
We have had SWP ppl tell us that Daesh is ‘like the Muslim Black Panthers’, no wonder then this colonial left has been helping Brit state to encourage ppl to go to Libya, Syria etc to join Daesh. The colonial left want this issue silenced, but they are deeply complicit.
