A number of people in my circles are convinced of Trump's claim that he won and that his opponents are using fraud to rob him of his election win.

A few things to consider in light of this claim:

(1/9)
Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick (R) has offered up $1 million dollars to anyone who comes forward with evidence of voter fraud. The Republican party is highly motivated to surface cases of fraud.

(2/9)
The latest lawsuit Trump filed in Pennsylvania alleges fraud in 2 counties that voted predominantly for him (Fayette and Luzerne). If evidence of fraud were established and those votes were thrown out, Biden's lead in the state would actually increase.

(3/9)
Trump’s legal team in Nevada just dismissed the lawsuit they had filed there. Key takeaway: none of the challenges or suits filed so far would affect the outcome even if they were successful.

(4/9)
If claims of widespread fraud were found to be legitimate, this would call into question favorable Senate and House gains by the Republicans, since those candidates were included on the same ballot as the Presidential candidates.

(5/9)
Fox News personality and staunch Trump supporter, Tucker Carlson, while still pushing for an investigation into reported cases of fraud, admitted today: "At this stage, the fraud that we can confirm does not seem to be enough to alter the election result."

(6/9)
Last week, several of the President's lawyers expressed concern that, given the small number of ballots involved in litigation and the President's continued inflammatory rhetoric, the goal of the litigation seems to be eroding public confidence in the election results.

There are some convincing signs that the "stolen election" narrative is just a lead up to the launch of a Trump-branded media conglomerate (i.e. Trump TV) hoping to undercut Fox News, but at what cost?
