Two months ago I was planning on quietly fading from my religion that I was raised in. I was too afraid to speak negatively about it at all. Today I am proudly telling y’all Jehovah’s witnesses are a dangerous CULT. Thank you, that is all.

To add on to this tweet after chatting with/reading so many of your stories it’s astonishing to me that many of us experienced the exact same type of emotional child abuse growing up. I chalked most of the narcissism to imperfection within my own group, but I’m now realizing-
