A free agent so we can get him now and Would be a decent enough signing. Would be a Kolo Toure type signing. Champions league experience with Valencia and Zenit. A temporary solution

By far the worst option but there’s no one else. Personally right now I would get him and Garay on short term deals for 2 months because we need experience in our back line. Can play cb and rb so it’s better than what we have.

A more unlikely signing but wants out of Man City. Hasn’t signed a new deal yet and looks set to leave. Contract is up in June but will probably move on in January. Would be a cheap option around less than 10m. Decent signing for that price

Everyone’s preferred choice and rightly so. Solid young French centre back with champions league quality. Would fit out system and the criteria of player we look for. One for the future and the present makes sense in my opinion. Would Leipzig let him go in Jan

David Alaba
This Is a long shot but a great option and should be considered. Great ball playing cb, but poor aerial quality. Versatile player. Contract is expiring but I doubt Bayern would let him go in January. Would cost mad wages tho

Another name being thrown about. Schalke want 35-40m for him. He’s tall and somewhat quick but I don’t rate him at all for that price. Definitely better options than him. He look like bambi on ice when he plays

Hes been superb for Villa of late. Decent ball playing centre back, hes quick enough, 6ft. Worth a gamble but Villa wouldn’t sell in Jan unless it was for big money.
