Since 2016, we’ve supported @FMOHealth to install neonatal intensive care units in 73 hospitals. Thanks to funding from @KoreainEthiopia and @UNICEFUSA, we trained staff in 194 hospitals and provided essential supplies to save sick newborns.
Oxygen is essential for treating pneumonia in #COVID19 patients.
With the generous support of @USAID & @UKAid, we have provided 380 oxygen concentrators for treatment of patients with severe #COVID19. In future, the concentrators will be repurposed to treat pneumonia in children.

We’ve provided 1,000 #pulse oximeters to #COVID19 treatment centers. With @FundlaCaixa through @unicef_es, 6,000 ARIDA devices have been provided to health extension workers across the country to detect fast-breathing in babies and rapidly flag low levels of blood oxygen.
