This tweet is not hyperbole. The US needs to deal with Trumpism the way Germany dealt with Nazism after WW2 to assure it didn’t return.
The people of Germany had to see all of the horrors committed. They made the flags and everything to do with Nazism illegal. I will tell you

why it is important. America, unlike Germany allowed fascism to continue. This is fact. It carried on bubbling under in the background. America needs to see itself as responsible for the the regrowth of fascism around the world. America should be a beacon for what is right.

But America decade after decade has continued its own oppressive regime. We need to change everything. We need to know all of the details of the Trump administration and that means we need our own Nuremberg trials.

Like I said. No hyperbole. It is what is needed.
