This Thursday, let’s challenge some stereotypes about #HIV

Stigma and assumptions are still endemic in #MedEd and healthcare curricula, so let’s unpack some of these.

If you come across stereotyped scenarios, please challenge them. We can work together to do better.
A quick refresher on the importance of testing, which should always be in the back of your head for all patients. Reserving considering a test solely for MSM doesn’t only stigmatise them, but also harms patients who may receive a later diagnosis because a dr doesn’t think to ask.
