Drops are a form of Jokerized LSD. From the many fliers seen in #TheBatman set leaks, we know that Drops is a form of psychedelic eye drop. LSD is a psychedelic that when taken through the eyes like this, results in a powerful, fast acting reaction... and burning eye pain

Why would Joker be utilizing a form of LSD you ask? Here’s a look at some of the effects of LSD use that would be relevant to a Joker toxin:

The Spring Grove experiments and other medical research of LSD ended in the 70s. Rob’s Bruce was likely born in the 80’s, making it entirely possible his father, Thomas Wayne, was involved in the LSD experiments at Arkham. If you’ve played Telltale Batman, this may sound familiar

IRL The Spring Grove Experiment was considered pretty well managed & found LSD to have positive results for patients, but an Arkham Asylum version wouldn't have gone so smoothly. For inspiration, LSD experiments like MKUltra resulted in patient suicide, among other reactions.
