THREAD: Two #Rohingya refugees on Bhasan Char told @FortifyRights that security forces on the island beat them in an attempt to force them to end a hunger strike.

All they want is to return to their families and communities in mainland #Bangladesh.

Human rights groups including @RFKHumanRights, @FortifyRights, @amnesty, @ASEANMP, @RefugeesIntl sent a private letter to #Bangladesh asking for access to U.N. and human rights groups to Bhasan Char. We got no reply.
