deleting your data and shutting down accounts from sites you haven't used in years seems far more difficult than it should be
Thinking back to those days when I enthusiastically joined *everything*. Never thinking: who are these people, what's their plan for my data, what if I change my mind in 5/10/15 years (because yes some of them are now 15 years)
so many broken browser extensions that promise bulk deletion and don't deliver :)
all of which is to say: I find myself far less enthusiastic about online participation than I was in ~ 2006. Is it just age? Weary cynicism? Life changes?
