I miss when making trainz content didn't feel like a job. You gotta please people and all that. Most of the time i enjoy it. Sometimes tho it feels like work, trying to make something that lives up to certain standards. I miss the days i could just make something and be happy.
I run a site now. Proud of it and the team we have. Love those guys and gals. But it can be so draining. You put out the "wrong" thing. Your site is seen as shit or less than other sites. You have to meet expectations for some reason. Why can't people just be happy
With what we give out. We all have lives. This is a hobby. Not a job. They should be grateful we release anything at all. It shouldn't matter if its a route or model. Its content you can use for videos or to play around with. Its not at bloody competition.

It hasn't got better but worse. More people demanding content. Disrespecting creators wishes for what? For a black james or to change the colour as its not 100% correct. Like Jesus shut up and be happy with what you have im sick of it.
There is this hierarchy to the sites. Workshops is top dog and then evey site is beneath them. Why can't we all be equal? What the problem with that. Then there are the nit pickers. Slicing people models to piece as thomas' tank is 2mm too short. It isn't being correct to the
Tvs. Its being annoying, let people be happy with what they make. Criticism is good but don't take it too far. On to routemakers, why the fuck are they seen as lesser than modellers? The amount of hard work i have seen route makers put in is great. The small details..
The easter eggs. To make a good route it can take just as long to make good model or longer. They make the sets you use to film and play. Be grateful and treat them with respect.
One final thing. Si3d. Its been 2 years. Let it die. You don't need 2012, 2010, 2009 content. Plenty of sites have content. Stop being greedy and use what you have.
Final note. respect content creators, its not fucking hard, they are people with lives. One day they can turn around like si3d or wnw and shutdown. Cos YOU pushed them to the limit. Actions have consequences!!
