Nov. 11th has significant meaning in my life.

1: It's my mom's birthday. Happy birthday @knudson_kristi!

2: It's Veteran's Day and the day I like to spend thinking about all the men and women I served with in Iraq/Kuwait. I miss y'all and hope you're living happy lives.
It's hard to believe we landed in the Middle East over 17 years ago. With how much of a crazy ride this last year has been, I sometimes have to remind myself, "I've been through worse." I know that's not the case for everyone though.
The stats on suicide among vets are not good. On average 20 veterans a day take their own lives. If anybody, veteran or not, needs somebody to talk to, I am ALWAYS available and so are the folks at the Veterans Crisis Line and Suicide Prevention Lifeline.
