1/ It’s now more than a week since Election Day, and Tarrant County is reporting that all votes are tallied.

2/ In the presidential election, Tarrant County voters elected Joe Biden by more than 1,800 votes.

This is important to note because Tarrant is known as a historically red (Republican) county.
3/ In Arlington, voters narrowly voted for the approval of a property tax increase that would raise teacher and staff pay, and grant access to nearly $18 million in additional state funding.
4/ Arlington voters also approved the adoption of a sales tax increase from 8% to 8.25%.
6/ In the race for city council, Arlington voters could elect representatives for districts 1, 2, 6 and 7.

Here are the results.
7/ The city will need to hold a runoff election in December for the District 7 seat since no candidate won 50% of the votes.
