Happy Veteran's Day!

If you were a vet and impacted by DADT -- usually in the form of discharge that wasn't Honorable -- there are resources out there to help you get your discharge status changed.

A discharge status of Honorable entitles a veteran to benefits.

Benefits like the VA home loan, healthcare, disability compensation, job training, education programs, and burial assistance.

If you were in the Army and want to deal directly with them, here's a link to the DADT Army Review Boards Agency:

The Air Force doesn't have a whole webpage that doesn't trigger browser warnings, but they do link directly to DD Form 293:

https://www.afpc.af.mil/Support/Frequently-Asked-Questions/

5/n
The Navy (and Marines) statement page doesn't give you directions, but it exists:

Last but not least, here's the Discharge Review Board site for the Coast Guard:

And, in case you're looking for a LGBTQ friendly veteran's organization, check out Modern Military Association of America (on Twitter as @LGBTQ_Military) at http://ModernMilitary.org

If you know someone that has been discharged because of DADT, please share the above resources with them.
